Group Financial Controller

Scantox Group is seeking a talented Group Financial controller to take on a key role in a growing international business offering contract research services for the pharmaceutical industry.
About the role:
The position, which has an international focus, supports the Group’s strategic development and aligning of financial structures across subsidiaries. The position requires occasional travel and a flexible approach. You will report to the Head of Group Financial Reporting and Compliance and work closely with stakeholders at all levels of the Group.
Key responsibilities:
- Development, optimization and maintenance of Group ERP system (Business Central)
- Contribute to the implementation of accounting policies and procedures in the group companies
- Year-end and Month-end closing and reporting (collaboration with the subsidiaries and ensuring accuracy in reporting)
- Maintain and adapt IFRS standards in the group companies
- Support subsidiaries with accounting and reconciliation procedures
- Ad hoc controlling, analysis and internal control
- Drive/support ad hoc ERP projects (e.g. ERP-implementation of new subsidiaries)
- Contribute to the implementation of transfer pricing procedures and documentation
- Contribute to the implementation of new subsidiaries
Your Profile:
We are looking for a proactive professional with:
- A strong background in finance or auditing
- Solid IT expertise, with experience in Dynamics Business Central, being an advantage
- A hands-on and service-minded approach to handling various tasks in a busy environment
- The ability to build scalable processes to support both organic growth and M&A activities
- Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and effective collaboration across the organization
